About

Hi,

I retired to Castlemaine, an old gold mining town in Central Victoria, around ten years ago.

I feel at home living here. There is a large creative community living in and around Castlemaine so there is a rich cultural life to enjoy.

Castlemaine is surrounded by bushland which is largely regrowth from the gold mining days. I enjoy ambling through the bush with my dog, Chilli.

My blog has evolved over time. I share my art work, my visits to open gardens, local festivals and my travels locally and further afield.

I like the way my blog changes as my life changes.

Thank you for visiting.

  2. Hi Margaret,

Jess here from Friends of Vaughan Springs. Beautiful blog – congratulations. I came across one of your images of Vaughan Springs in Autumn – the friends are about to launch our next family fun day at the springs and we’d love to use your image on the press release if that’s ok with you? I can email you a draft copy of the press release if you’d like to see it – just need your email address..?
