Taradale House is the setting for weddings and celebrations providing accommodation and a venue for these events. It was open to the general public during the 2016 Castlemaine and District Festival of Gardens

The gardens have been designed to complement the purpose of this events business.

    • Thank you Susan. My little, digital point and press camera does quite a good job. I think looking at other people’s photographs has helped me to develop an eye for what could make an interesting image.

  2. What a beautiful place. I’ve always thought having events like weddings, reunions, and celebrations are most lovely done outdoors. Unless of course the heat or cold is a factor!

    • Yes, Lori, it is a gamble planning an outdoor event. When I was visiting the property a marquee was being set up for an event so shelter was being provided.
