Longing for Lunch

I recently acquired pieces of white card measuring approximately 20cm square. They will provide the format for a series of simple collages.

This is the first. Hunger inspired the subject.

  1. Sounds fun.

    • Yes, Susan. It is fun to have a play with words, paper and images and see what happens.

  2. Are you on a diet too Margaret? I would gladly eat that artwork 😉

    • I am happy to say ‘I am not on a diet’, Fran.

Feeling hungry fills me with the pleasant anticipation of the good food to come.

I am thankful to be in the position of knowing that my hunger is temporary.

      • You are right there Margaret. I, on the other hand, need to lose 20kg and need to watch what I eat so I have to try not to lick the screen whenever I am reading food blog posts 😉

  3. Collages are fun Margaret. They create colour, patterns and meaning to previously unrelated pieces of paper… this first one of yours has it all!
Looking forward to seeing what comes next…

    • Thanks Gail. I agree collages encourage play as there are no rules and they can be created at little or no cost. At the most basic level, a sheet of paper, a pile of magazines, scissors and glue are all you need to get the creative juices flowing.
