    • Thank you Enivea. The colour of the water was a very pale blue that day.
      I observed on the hillsides some grey green shapes which were strange to me. Later as I was driving from Baringhup to Maldon, it became clear the shapes were an exotic weed species, the Wheel Cactus, which is infesting the countryside around Mt. Tarrengower. There is a local community group working to eradicate the cactus.
