Charcoal Drawing: Bell’s Beach

The seascape appears then disappears as curtains of rain lift then fall again,

The car rocks as it is hit by blasts of wind,

The vegetation on the cliff top bobs and sways –

the only colour against a grey and white backdrop as the sea surges restlessly forward.

Bell’s Beach, 24th April 2012

Bell’s Beach is close to Torquay on Victoria’s Surf Coast.

  1. Your pictures seem to be very free and coming from the heart. Beautiful and expressive works.

    • I am glad you have spent some time enjoying my work, Shelley.
